About The Festival:

The Ageas Salisbury International Arts Festival presents a wonderful array of spectacular events. The Festival draws the best artists from around the world, commissioning and creating work unique to the region. In 2014 the Festival looks North to explore the Nordic lands of the midnight sun, and the contrasts between light and dark, and city and nature. Highlights for the 2014 Festival will include a stunning choral tribute to the late Sir John Tavener by the South Iceland Chamber Choir in Salisbury Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre bringing the sparkling comedy Much Ado About Nothing to Old Wardour Castle and the magnificent City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra performing under its masterful music director Andris Nelsons.
